After never really knowing how the mist was going to look since the color is so super-saturated in the bottles, lots of people have been making swatches. I jumped right on that bandwagon…
Since I have little or no wall space, I had to put them on a ring so they wouldn’t take up a ton of room. I think this will be easier for me to grab and use anyway. (though the lovely displays of swatches I’ve seen are more fun.)

I recently got this book from the library and I like it so much, I’m going to buy a copy to keep. It has simple little projects that mostly use stuff crafty people already have on hand and it was written by a scrapbooker, so it appeals nicely to me.
I don’t know why, but when I saw these at JoAnn’s I just had to get them.
Got inspired by the Studio Calico gallery yesterday, so I did a blatant scraplift of Emily Pitts. Pretty fun.
It’s been interesting scrappin’ on the floor using a big sketch board as a desk. I’m really finding that I don’t need a whole lot of “stuff” to make LO’s…paper, trimmer, letter stickers and my new Slice. That thing is really fun and easy to use. Works well sitting on the floor too!
I just caved in and bought a Slice a few short weeks ago and now I have to see that they are coming out with a pink one in August! Geez, I would have waited if I had known…

I got a new Anna Griffin paper stack from Michael’s the other day and right away I decided that the bright colors would be fun with photos of the grey kitties. I love pages that aren’t planned or sketched, just bing bang boom, they are done. I did both of these in one day, which is pretty amazing for me lately.
getting organized! I haven’t been making any pages because I just have piles of stuff everywhere lately. I need to sort out all Harry’s school papers and get them put away and I need to sort out all the miscellaneous stuff that just collects everywhere.
Last week I got one of these from Crop Chocolate so that I can keep my newest and most exciting scrapbook purchases out and ready to go. I really love organizing, so this should be fun, fun, fun.
