Nobody died…yet I am just not good about blogging when there is yukky stuff going on. Cannot do the false bravado and fake cheerfulness thing. I suppose if I was a good, responsible blogger I would just post about other subjects (or more likely hawk products or something) and keep on, but hey, nobody’s paying me for this gig, so I’m setting my own hours dammit!

(photos of my boysies in their holiday jammies, way too cute!)

A Hammy, Hamby Holiday

April13

Augustus Gloop

Our littlest dude was completely amazed by the plethora of candy and its immediate consumption. He got right into the spirit of things, so we called him Augustus Gloop all day.

Hormel Cured Ham

I actually made a ham for our dinner. Easter ham was the bane of my mother’s existence….every year she would say “I hope Grammy didn’t make ham, I hope Grammy didn’t make ham and that disgusting ham gravy.” I will admit that the gravy was horrid….salty and too sweet, more like ham syrup. While I certainly didn’t make ham gravy, I did serve it up with the aforementioned Hash Brown Casserole. Ham, potatoes and cheese, nothing at all redeeming about that!

Santa came early.

The local Fire Station brought Santa and Mrs. Claus right to our house on a fire truck last Sunday. Harry was truly amazed, but of course, George wanted nothing to do with the old guy in the white beard. They both got a stocking full of fun stuff. Moving here gets better and better!
