After never really knowing how the mist was going to look since the color is so super-saturated in the bottles, lots of people have been making swatches. I jumped right on that bandwagon…

Since I have little or no wall space, I had to put them on a ring so they wouldn’t take up a ton of room. I think this will be easier for me to grab and use anyway. (though the lovely displays of swatches I’ve seen are more fun.)

I must have been running the latest version of “Delusions of Grandeur” because I had myself thoroughly convinced that I was going to be happier once summer finally arrived…no schedules, no cold feet, less clothing.

What a gigantic dumb-ass I am. Our a/c is not the right size for our house + the addition, so we decided to close up the addition since the floor isn’t done anyway. Moved all my scrap stuff and the TV and xbox back to the dining room, which really sucks.

Boys out of school=boys doing nothing. Steven hasn’t been able to find even a part time job. What’s the plan. Man?

I promise the universe that I will be one happy camper once the temps get below 90 again. Meanwhile, I’m hiding in the house.

First time in the pool this summer. He was a total maniac and loved it, of course. Sooki bit the tube and wrecked the pool, of course. Ah well…

My darling little George. Mr. Adventure, covered in scrapes and scratches, climbs all the way up the chain link fence. Says Thank you and You’re Welcome, but hasn’t got the hang of Please. Loves to feed the dog and cat and fill the bird feeder. Loves to get in the bath, but wants to get out after 5 minutes. No interest at all in books or quiet activities. If it isn’t loud, it had better be messy.

I found this website and recently, this book was on the main page and I remembered how much I LOVED this book because:

1) I looked just like the girl on the cover.

2) I wore clothes just like the girl on the cover.

3) Kindergarten was EXACTLY like the book, to my great relief.

4) I thought the name Katy was pretty close to Stacy, so that was fun.

I would love to buy that book, but $15.00? If it didn’t live up to my memory of it, it would be so sad.

Since I don’t have all my kitchen gadgets and things, I decided to make this unused drawer into a snack drawer so that the kids can serve themselves. Not a single, organic thing in there; it is chock full o’ preservatives.

Picked up these cute mugs for 99 cents a while back. Bri keeps buying bigger and bigger mugs and I have been wanting normal size, so these are perfect for me.

Any bets on how long it takes for one of these guys to break one?
(my guess is within one month)

I don’t know how much rain we’ve gotten this year but I am just sick of it! We’ve it so much work to do on the house and the rain and mud are not so helpful. C’mon Phoenix, where you at?
